Sat, Nov 9 from 10am - 12pm

This event has passed.

In Seattle we have museums dedicated to art, natural history and even pinball! Many of these museums are not only interesting for what's inside, but also for what they look like on the outside. If you had the ability to create your own museum, what would it include? How would the outside reflect what is inside? Join us to create your own!

Please note: This is an all-masked event for those wishing to participate in SAF Family Workshops according to their comfort levels. Masks will be required at this particular workshop. All other Family Workshops are mask optional.

Designed with younger children in mind (ages 5–12 with a chaperone), our family workshops encourage children and their caregivers to explore architecture through hands-on activities each month. Workshops begin with an exploration of exciting examples of architecture and activities that highlight the design process. Then, the kids are off—designing and building their own structures in a whirlwind two-hour workshop that culminates in a group presentation.

Parents/guardians must reserve adult chaperone tickets in addition to purchasing tickets for their children. If you encounter any difficulties reserving both types of ticket, please email info@seattlearchitecture.org for assistance.

We offer no-questions-asked scholarships for all SAF Family Workshops. Email info@seattlearchitecture.org to inquire.
