Come join us for a culinary event with Project Feast, a nonprofit social enterprise providing training and pathways to jobs in the food industry for refugees and immigrants. At Project Feast, food brings people together, transforms lives, and fosters mutual understanding across diverse cultures. The organization was founded on the belief that immigrants and refugees possess incomparable wisdom, skills, and knowledge to contribute to our communities. Hear about their work in Kent, hear their stories and learn a new dish as you sample appetizers from their Ubuntu Street Café.

Participants:

•    Veena Prasad (Project Feast Founder & Executive Director)
•    Maha Hassen (Alumna, Project Feast Kitchen Assistant)
•    Ofelia Anorve (Alumna, Owner Mamá Tila Catering)

This program held in conjunction with the AIA Seattle Exhibit "Sanctuary: Design For Belonging," which runs through February 23 at the Center for Architecture and Design.
